Monarch Village Collaboration

On May 15, 2021 in Lawrence, Kansas, Monarch Village hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion and opening of their project. This project came to be with a vision from Studio 804 ( a non-profit corporation which involves Masters students at The University of Kansas in the architecture program) and the need for more space at the Lawrence Community Shelter. Through this incredible project, the Shelter received 12 tiny homes that are able to house families in need of help. Collaboration with various companies in the Kansas City metro allowed this project to come to fruition with American Direct’s contribution being donated locks for each home.
